As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

In the Club and in the Streets... Sunday, November 29

Today is my one day off training but those who know me know I spend much of my day off thinking about training... hahaha.  My personal training client asked me if I could train her today so of course I jumped at the chance to get in the club even if it was just training her.
I met up with my coworker for pizza and football (odd for me, I know) and then I walked home.  On my walk home I looped around my area to snap a pic of this -- the entrance to the Sherborne subway.  I love this entrance, the graffiti and ghettoness of it all.
I'm sure some people would label this walkway as sketchy but I think it's pretty awesome.  I love the bold colours of it.  Once in awhile some randomer will come and try to trash part of it with spray paint but it always seems to get fixed up within a day or two.  I don't know if the original person fixes it up but it's always changing.
