As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Getting a Big Dose of Pick-Me-Up at System

Showed up almost in tears and hugged this fabulous gal -- Ginger Spice.
It had been a rough morning and all day I struggled with it so getting some
girl time in and some extra hugs was definitely much needed.
Coffee time with my girl was followed by boxing with my workout boy, Double J.
He's trying to avoid my camera here but isn't he so cute, sitting there with his man bun.
He knows me too well to know that I'm sitting here trying to sneak a pic of him
after doing my round work on the heavy bag.
"I'm squishing your head", I told him.  Yes, I'm 35 going on 12 apparently.
This is the view from the spinning room where we do our boxing.  It's a glass-enclosed room that looks out unto part of the weight training area.  We can blast our music and yell all we want but they can't hear us.  And because we box with the main lights off in this room, for the most part, they can't really see us either.
