As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Taking a Breather to Think

Spent some time looking out from my balcony.
We've got a cemetary in front of us but if you beyond it you can see the lake.
I did some wandering around Toronto tonight and one of my errands took me over to Little Korea where I spotted the walnut cake shop.  My hometown Cheonan is famous for its little walnut cakes.  It's with bitter sweetness that I saw it tonight.
Scored an unexpected dose of sweetness and encouragement when I ran
into this gingery one -- Ginger Spice!
She stretched while I busted my butt on the spinning bike.
This was suppose to be a simple warm-up but turned into quite the intense training for me when one of the workers decided to wash the floor and I had to wait for it to dry so I could box.  Can't be twisting my ankle or God help I hurt my knee again!!!
