As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Fueled Up for a Packed Friday of Fighting and Friends

The pre sparring picture -- muscles all jacked and anticipation at an all time high.
The post sparring picture -- muscles totally exhausted but the feeling of accomplishment at an all time high.
I feel the prettiest when I sweat but sometimes it's nice to get dolled up, make-up on, hair all did, and pretty clothes on.  Got made up for a special lunch out.
A high school friend of mine, a pure sweetie, came into Toronto to take me out for lunch and it was super awesome to catch up with her and share stories.
She's just as adorable sweet as she was back in public school!
Despite downing a loaded breakfast after sparring, I fueled up on a big meal at lunch only a couple of hours later because I knew I had more sparring tonight.
Us at the Fight Club tonight.
I tell you, if there was any way to get a second wind and end your work week on such an incredibly high positive note than it'd be to come here, to Fight Club, where the female fighters are as sweet as they are hardcore tough.
