As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Always on the Go... Tuesday, March 15

Today's business...

6:30am Arrive at PBB and coached my morning Boxfit class.
It was the last class for one of my boxers and she was super sweet in surprising me at the end of it with a box of Lindor chocolates.  On the box was a little letter she had written for me and I thought that was so awesome.  I'm all about cards and letters!!!

8:30am  Conference call with sponsor.
Sponsor very happy with my resignation and how I have already started actively training with my new coach.

10:15am  Chiropractor appointment.
Good news, I no longer have to go 3 times a week. Because I've been quite diligent with apply Muscle Care to my hand and have taken a break from sparring, I'm good for just 2 times a week for the next two weeks and then just maintenance, ...sweet.

11:00am  Full physical with my family doctor.
Am pretty sure he's gay because when he asked me to strip down to just my bra and panties I told him I didn't have underwear on and it totally didn't even fase him.

1:00pm Meeting with Coach Perez.
Originally I was scheduled to train with him today at the boxing club but schedules got mixed up and the TTC experienced light problems.   The Yonge subway service was canceled for awhile and I showed up way too late.  Ended up not boxing but instead meeting up with him, a fellow pro boxer and LB Management at a tattoo parlor downtown that I'll from here on out refer to as The Shop.

6:00pm Meeting at Cabbagetown Boxing.
Picked up the shirts left behind at Sunday's race and then chatted with Queen Spar and some other boxers.  Broke the news of me leaving PBB to The Irish.  Was asked how it felt working at PBB with the countdown on but someone else answered it perfectly.  "It's like living with your ex for a bit after the breakup", this is totally true.  You both know it's over but it's not yet concluded and you're hoping it can end on a good note because you both do care about each other.
6:50pm Coffee with Ginger Spice.
My girl Ginger bombarded me with extra sweetness tonight.  She surprised with a bag of Lindo chocolates when I walked into Starbucks and then blurted out "Happy White Day" which ended up sounding rather racist with the black guy beside us looked over....hahaha.  We love all the colours of the rainbow, relax.

7:30pm  Weight Training and sprints at System.
Ran into a System member I used to be familiar with, a guy I haven't seen for over 11 years.  He's since saved all his hair off and when I noted he's got no hair he giggled and pointed at my head. "You're half there too!" Yes and no...I am half there because I let someone take a blade to my head as oppose to Mother Nature.

9:00pm Met with the Painter.
Arrived very exhausted, very sweaty and very smelly, but very much in high spirits because I had killed tonight's workout.  He treated me to a home cooked meal, nice.
