As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Back to Training Hard

Pumped and ready to head out to training.
Mother Nature added some resistance training in via an ice storm, freezing rain, and consequently icy streets that left you wondering if you should have worn ice skates instead of boots.
Not too sure if you can see in the mirror behind the treadmill but that's me, standing in the rain, taking a picture of my frozen Polish self as I waited for our crew to show up.
Finally got in.  Cranked up the heat and geared up for training with the tough guys.
Training got rather intense today and I think we all left with blood on our clothes.
And just when we were exhausted and ready to leave, Coach Perez goes
and amuses us by standing on his head.
Takes a lot of core strength to do this though, dang!
