As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Friday Night at Training

See this guy behind me, trying to photo bomb my pic...
he's one of my new buddies at Clancy's Boxing.
We're all dressed in training gear and sweats and he's rocking out a hat, what looks like a possible undershirt, some beach shorts, and he's still got his gold chain on.  It's not exactly the training wear I'd wear but I love it how he totally owns this look and doesn't care what anyone thinks.
We're a hot mess.  We train hard but we also have a lot of fun.
And we've got a solid crew of other awesome boxers training alongside us.
I took this picture after class, after almost all the boxers had gone home and I was waiting for the manager.  I love the setup of this club.
