As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Texts from an Ex

I had put on my Facebook as my updated status that I wouldn't be reachable via Facebook due to security reasons and that if people wanted to get a hold of me they could either text me or email me.
Well, tonight I received a lot of cellphone messages from friends and family, all asking how I was and offering support and encouragement.  I decided to share a couple of messages I got from one close friend of mine, see the above pics.  I met him in my first year of university, in my hometown.  We dated briefly but he's always been a favourite of my parents and we're still pretty close.  It's pretty awesome that even after all these years he still has my back and looks out for me.  As for his nickname on my phone, oh relax.
