As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

The Rugby Players Hang up Their Cleats for Boxing Gloves

The Rugby Rumble and I was there!!!
...I clearly wasn't the only one there either.  The place was packed!!!
VIP tickets meant I didn't have to stand like a sardine in the crowd though.
They had a sectioned off VIP area with a private bathroom, a free bar and even a caterer.
Best fight of the night for me, the twin sisters going at it.
The other fight of interest for me involved a fighter my buddy
whom I had come there with had trained.
His whole immediate family had come out for his fight and I thought that was awesome.  I chatted a lot with them all, especially his mom.  She's the gorgeous blonde, two heads in from the right corner.  What an amazingly supportive woman!
After the fights, my crew and I headed out to Revival for some old school beats and karaoke that wasn't really karaoke but soon-to-be paid performers!!!
And what's a night out without meeting some new people.
I made some new gal pals in the girls' bathroom, apparently.
