As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

From Sweats to Heels

Training at Hardknocks with Coach Perez.
Everyday we're hussling.
Better than yesterday.
After an afternoon of sweating my brains out, I got dolled up for a night out.
You can take the girl out but you can't take the fighter out of her.
I tried my best to be very lady-like though.
Tonight was all about luxury and fine dining.
Enjoying a stunning night out surrounded by dinosaurs was awesome as was having the event in a museum.  I've never really noticed before just how beautiful the R.O.M. is.
My date and I took a sneaky run up the stairs to explore some parts of the museum.
I'll definitely have to revisit the R.O.M.; it's been way too long.
I felt like I was in the movie "A Night at the Museum", sneaking around the place.
