As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Kicking My Curves to the Curb with Cardio

Started my day off on such a positive, healthy, happy note
-- 6 egg spinach omelette with a large strong coffee.
OK, so I'm happy here, happy to have convinced Ginger Spice to do a cardio exercise with me, but she's not so convinced it'll be "fun".
Took being gym nasty happy to a whole new level when I whipped off my shirt to wipe my face.  Was borderline drowning in my own sweat.  In doing so though I realized the inevitable pre-fight weight loss problem 101 has started to happen... I'm losing my "lady lumps".  Had to tie my sport bra straps because my fight-bod-in-the-making doesn't fill it out anymore.  It's only going to get worse from here.  Bring it.
See, now she's happy.  Cardio and late night weight training done.
