As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

More Coffee to Fuel More Sparring

In anticipation of leaving tomorrow, I spent a good chunk of my day flying around Toronto saying goodbye to various friends and peeps.
I hit two birds with one stone on this one -- stopped by my friend's pie shop to say goodbye and then took some of his delish pies to my friend's office.
Indulged in a pie and espresso with friends as they "worked".
Check out this espresso collection; that's intense.  I love it!
Picked up a Spanish phrasebook and check out the first page I opened to.
Frog legs?!  Say what... do they have a lot of protein, that's all I want to know.
Headed out of the city to another boxing club for early evening sparring.
Tonight's sparring consisted of a lot of heavy hits and some brawling; love it!
Much thanks to this fierce female fighter for the rounds of sparring tonight.
