As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Full Day of Big Hugs

Passed by this food truck today -- a Mexican street food truck.
I'm back in Canada but still have Mexico on my mind...and apparently on our streets too.
Good to be back having strong coffee.
Double espresso with steamed coconut milk.
Headed out for a long run today and ended up at the beach.
Happy to be back and happy to be back training... not so happy to have to run back though because I wanted to lounge at the beach.  It was a long run today, 18.23kms.
Random couple sitting at the beach today that stirred up thoughts in my head.
Not to random moment, this happens a lot.
Balboa is such a creeper, always creeping around watching me.
But he's super cute so I guess it is allowed.
Finally met up with some friends for some more much needed hugs.
Thanks Ginger Spice.
Spotted Mr. T outside of System, while I was at Starbucks drinking coffee -- second double espresso for the day.  Stopped traffic to run across the street and hug him.
Scored a nice surprise today -- my running coach, Coach Madman, showed up at System and, yes, I got more hugs today.
