As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Chillaxin' time and Munch Down

Treating the main life guard to a coffee today resulted in a sweet surprise
-- he brought me a Vietnamese treat.
At first I tried to simply bite right into it but then he told me I had to peel it open.
It was all wrapped up in this massive banana leaf.
Basically it's pounded down rice with some kind of floor added to it and then there's meat in the middle.  We have a very similar thing in Korea but this was pretty awesome.
I was treated to more food today thanks to a movie invite I sent out to J-Doll.
He showed up with olives, tomatoes, meat, and crackers, and while I was out walking Balboa he was super sweet in preparing it all.  Ya, I know, I'm not a very good hostess.  I did make him coffee though... any redemption points for that?! No? Yes? Hmmm...
