As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Original Plans Got Rained Out... Sunday, July 31

I didn't go to church today, instead I got stuck running in the rain with two coffees. One coffee was for the local life guard and the other was for me.  I showed up soaked.  The original plan was to meet with the life guard to talk about some stuff, like my Aqua Boot Camp that starts up this week, and then jet off to church but getting rained on meant either cancelling my meeting or showing up to church late and soaked.  Decided to sit soaked poolside, have my meeting, and then just call it a day.

And just like that the day got kicked into lazy mode.

No church, no chill spot hang time with the Captain, and no laps in the pool.

Yes to hang time with both life guards and an afternoon of chillaxin' at home with a friend, Balboa, two movies, and some random Korean music videos.
