It's happened, I've ventured down to the ghetto fabulous apartment complex pool and have jumped in. My roommate and her girl friends all had a good giggle at my eagerness to do so.
Jumping into that pool was cold, woozers!!! It was like when you drink a slurpee too fast and get brain freeze except for the fact that this was an all-over body freeze. None the less, I loved it and definitely plan on doing it every day after boxing!
Sundays are "Chill Spot" days with Captain Bowtie, that's his new official nickname.
He texted me "4 wheels or 2 wheels?" I opted for two wheels.
"Be careful" my friend texted me before we headed out.
"Don't worry", I responded. "We only let it get to 140."
Our official "Chill Spot" is a spot in the park that's actually very close to my house.
And our Sunday tradition is grabbing coffee and hanging there, chatting and giggling.
Coffee, chatting and giggling was then followed by venturing to another favourite spot of ours, a restaurant on the east side of town.
I got the quiche, he got the salmon... and then we shared an eggs benedict and a piece of apple crumble pie with ice cream. It was initially intended to be clean eating...that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Returned home late in the evening and stayed up way too late working on work.
Took some "Balboa cuddle breaks" and then kept on working till about 3am.
Side note here, he looks so huge posing as my pillow! Ah, the power of camera positioning.
