As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Strange is the New Normal... Tuesday, July 26

Yesterday I received my second marriage proposal by a fan and today I got approached about being an egg donor.  An egg donor, as in would I be interested in selling the eggs in my body so somebody can make another somebody.

Stranger things have happened.... Right?!

Yes.

After doing my first set of 20 laps at the pool, I lifted myself out of the water and headed towards the bathroom.  Everyone watched as I walked by and into the bathroom.  I did my thing, then exited and noticed all the eyes on me. "Hey it's 2016 the life guard said".  Turns out I had just used the guy's bathroom, classy.

Yes, stranger things continue to happen...

Puked during weight training after a meal I knew was too much for me to digest proved me correct.  I was doing abs when it happened.  Abs on a full, bloated tummy, like that's not a perfect recipe for disaster.  Any more disastrous and I would have been doing burpees.

Yes, stranger things have happened and the strange and stranger always seems to happen to me.  That apparently is the story of my new life here in Canada...as if my life in Korea wasn't strange enough that is.
