As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Changing My Phone and My Mind

It's official, my Korean phone that I was attached at the hips with has died.
Today I tried to figure out which one of my three Canadian phones would take it's place and it's a toss up between the iPhone 4 and the newer Blackberry.

I'm not a fan of Apple and think it's super annoying how I can't Chrome cast many of my downloaded applications on the iPhone but its camera kicks that of the Blackberry.

The iPhone was given to me by one of my Hulkies in Korea, before I left, and the newer Blackberry was given to me by an ex of mine from back in the day here.
Received my very first birthday card, sweet!!!
As I was doing laps today in the pool the life guard came and snuck this homemade card for me under my sweater.  How sweet is he?!  So very.
A visit down to the lake tonight after training scored me something else -- a book.
Not too sure about this book though.  I thought the title was funny but to say it has an overdose of the "f" word in its text would be the understatement of the year, yikes.
