As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Continuation of My Birthday

Today I received a most unexpected but very beautiful gift -- a watch from my exfiance, Poo.  He had messaged me, we arranged to meet for breakfast, and that's when he surprised me with a birthday gift.  Even after one big heartbreak and all the years that have passed since we were "us", we're still friends.
Last night Captain Bowtie sung Happy Birthday to me and then I blew a candle out that sat stuck in a blueberry muffin.  Today it was a butterscotch sundae and my dad and the staff at Swiss Chalet that sung Happy Birthday to me.
Guess who's back... my BMX!!!
My dad drove in from out of town today so I had asked him to bring my BMX bike with him.  It's not all fancy and ultra cool like my one in Korea but this is the original one I had from back in the day when I use to rope my boxing gloves across my neck and ride off to boxing at EMBA with Egerton.  It's totally a stolen bike I bought and it's ghetto but it's fabulous.
