As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Fast and Furious Kind of Friday

Hitting the heavy bag and roughing it out at training today before I headed out for coaching.  It had been a super rough start to my day and I needed the intense workout so that I could shake it off and refocus myself.
Met up with some of my fighters from Team Blue at the library.
We were going to travel to training together.
But before we headed out, one of them surprised me with a snack she had baked for our team.  How awesome are my fighters?!  So very awesome.
I had no idea what this was, it looked like a massive fabulous brownie, but it was so delish and ultra healthy.  Sure it had a bit of chocolate in it but it was high quality chocolate and each piece packed an impressive punch of protein.
Team Blue trained hard today, they took direction, tested out two key combos I wanted them to put in their "boxing bank" for fight night, so we shared that protein-packed, grade A delish snackie together.
