As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Change in My Usual Friday... Friday, December 9

I don't coach Friday mornings anymore at the female-only gym so no more early 5am wake-ups and heading to the gym before the sun and the rest of the city gets up.  I get to sleep in which is a fabulous bonus but it also means I don't get to end my week with the gorgeous Golden Gals and the awesomeness and sweetness they bring to my Friday morning Pilates class.  They're a great way to start my day and a beautiful way to end my week.  I'll miss them.

All I had scheduled for today was one personal training client, lunch out, and then work on Flipside Fitness and my Second Dream.  Sparring at the Fight Club tonight got canceled so I headed out to System to do my own boxing and weight training.

I killed it with my rounds on the heavy bag and then I killed it on the weights.

Trained hard and then played hard -- headed out to Snakes and Lattes.  Second time going there in two days but this time instead of working on work there I actually played a game.  Usually I go there with my computer and my Second Dream notebook and plug away at planning my next business.  Tonight I took a break from it and has some down time.  That's not to say business wasn't brought up and discussed, it always is.
