As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

For the Love of Boxing and Staying Young

Bought myself some new boxing gloves for sparring today.  I just couldn't hold off any longer.
Shout-outs and much thanks to my girl at Warriors downtown who gave me the sweet hookup, a massive discount.  Cash is tight with me preparing for the Philippines because as soon as I leave Canada the cash flow will be stopped until I return.
Broke in my new gloves at Fight Club tonight with the ladies.
I posted this picture on Instagram and Facebook, noting that if there was ever a true testiment to living healthy and staying active than this picture right here was it.  Of the four of us, I was the second youngest (age 36), two of them are in their 40's with one of them being 47.  I love it!!!  Nothing inspires me more than seeing people who work hard at being healthy and fit and don't slow down because of age.  Just because we're all getting older doesn't mean we necessarily have to slow down, stop having fun and stop doing what we love.  These ladies always inspire me and their awesome energy is so contagious.
