As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Bye Friends but the Stress Stayed... Wednesday, February 22

It was a day of goodbyes today.

I traveled to Whitby to say goodbye to my dad and to my hairdresser Marney.

I traveled to Clancy's Boxing to say goodbye to manager Kris, owner Mr. Clancy, and head coach Coach Rico.

Then I stayed up to about 3am, hoping a minor error in my airline ticket wouldn't mean saying goodbye to a chunk of my money.  Am now leaving on Tuesday as oppose to Monday because of a minor overlook with our initial plane ticketing.  It ended up only costing an additional $100 but now it means I have to change Balboa's last vet visit and all the papers associated with that.

I wish I could say goodbye to the stress of Balboa's paperwork and not my friends.

...but oh the fun continues...
