As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Breakfast of Champs

Headed out for breakfast with my gal pal.
 Holy super delish!!!
After breakfast, the two of us drove around the city and checked out some of the gyms.
Fit4Less is with GoodLife and I'm not a fan of GoodLife so I wasn't a fan of Fit4Less.
In the evening I participated in a class at Orange Theory Fitness.
I liked the class but will admit that I wasn't a fan of how half their space and half of the class was very cardio based.  I do boxing, I really don't need any more cardio.
Speaking of cardio, I ended the day with a run because, well, it's Whitby and my choices were limited.
Note how there's no cars on the street.  Welcome to Whitby.
After living in Korea for so long and then in the Philippines, Whitby is like a ghost town for me.
