As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Good Girl Gone Bad.. By Mistake, Kind of

On route to church, I realized why I still had so much Canadian change in my bag.
I've been using Filipino peso.  It was an honest mistake and I was kind of embarrassed when I made the realization but then I did it again... purposely.
It felt so good to step foot into Grant African Church today.  I honestly missed this place so much.

I figured with it being Sunday and me having gone to church today that I better at least try to be an honest person and not use my pesos on the TTC... at least not for the rest of the day.  The TTC is super expensive, this whole city is expensive compared to the Philippines, so I told myself it was either take the TTC home or grab a coffee.
Coffee is ALWAYS the answer.  There really is no need to question it.
