As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Dinner for... How Many?!

Headed out for a late night dinner with some business associates and friends of mine.
Everyone showed up super late but while I was sitting there at the bar waiting this guy walked in.
Anyone who's from Toronto knows of that club, it's not what you think it is.  Sometimes a name IS just a name... nothing sexy about that club.  Turns out he too is from Toronto but he's been here for something like 20 years, wow.
Dinner was finally served but it was totally worth the wait.  It was amazing.
I thought they're just be 4 of us at the table tonight but our table just kept on growing and growing.
I know the three at my end of the table but by the end of the night I had wined and dined with the others.  One of the ladies even drove me home.  That's just how life is... spontaneously beautiful.
