As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Getting Out for a Friday Night

Balboa wasn't the only Chihuahua playing around in the 7th floor garden today.  Nope, he wasn't.
Today he and I met another Chihuahua, a 4 month old little one named Apple.
I'm convinced Balboa has met his match -- a little one more curious than him about four-legged kids.
The irony here being the fact that Balboa is the one named after a fighter and yet it was him who was running away.  Too funny and too cute.
Tonight the three of us Torontonians went out to a favourite restaurant of mine, Crying Tiger.
And from there we headed over to Kapwa Hair Salon where my friend Dee Jae had turned the place into his own little lounge/video game room... very cool.
Next it was off to another friend's place, 20:20, and then we ended
the night off by going to Black Market.
