As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Trip to the Doctor's

Had my first doctor's visit here in the Philippines and apparently Mr. Bean was
there to tell us all to "always smile"... creepy!
Got the thumbs up from my doctor today.  I'm on the road to recovery, nice.
My doctor is also the father to two super empowered little ladies whom I totally adore.
This week one of them is performing in The Sound of Music so I'll be attending that.
And speaking of kids, these two little ones outside of the doctor's office caught my attention.  They did a few laps in the street and we exchanged a lot of smiles and waves.  Asian kids are the cutest and Filipino kids are super friendly.  One little boy no taller than two feet waved by to me in the doctor's office.
