As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Goal Slaying in the Park

The calm before the storm, when I'm explaining the exercises to the ladies and they
know it's about to go from zero to ten real fast with the intensity.
Them taking a break and me setting the scene for the next circuit.
Walking lunges with torso twists, a great combo exercise that uses the legs and the core.
Coach Farah joined us today, to take pictures and to watch the ladies kill it with their training.
I don't want to hear any excuses, I have my fair share too, trust me.
Just because I love working out and that's my job, my world revolves around fitness and health, doesn't mean I don't have my excuses.  This was me after coaching but I pretty much looked like this all the way leading up to coaching today -- flopped out on the bed, in pain and hoping I wasn't going to literally poop my pants.  Oh the joys of food poisoning... not very joyful at all.
