As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Lots of Excessive Traveling Today

After ten months of asking for this from Korea, my 2017 boxing license finally arrived.
I have way too much to say here to even know where to start so I won't.
This is the middle of the mall, one of the malls where I got lost today.

In getting lost, I discovered a lot new stores and in these stores I discovered a piece of Toronto.
Girls support girls?!  Yes, they definitely do and if they don't, well, they need to grow up and do.
Finally found my destination, the Habi Fashion show event where my friend was painting.
I had been invited to this event by one of my Empowered ladies I've been coaching.  Just last night she was sweating it out in the park as I coached her in boxing and here she was today, strutting her stuff, doing her thang, modelling a local designer's clothes.
