As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Sunday Shopping

Headed to the mall today, Greenbelt... and yes, this IS the mall.

It's actually the middle part of the mall but, ya, not what you were expecting right?! Neither is the rest of the Philippines if you were to come here. This past week I entertained friends from Toronto visiting the Philippines for the first time. Can you say "mind blown", because that's what happened.
A friend of mine had noticed these particular shirts at H&M so I headed over to grab a couple.

...and then I started noticing other fierce female-like shirts had on the neighbouring racks.

Yet another reason why I don't like shopping -- so many cool things to
buy but so little money to actually buy anything.
Shopping at the local Sunday market and then shopping at Greenbelt, all the while accompanied by my trusting little adorable companion, Mr. Balboa Button.  Shopping proved to be too much for the both of us though.  We literally shopped till we dropped.
