As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Sweet, Sweat, and Spectacular

I pass through my former condo in Makati when I go to boxing, it's a quick shortcut, and today the front desk girls stopped me to tell me I had mail! My dad had sent me a Christmas card and so did one of my friends in Korea.  Talk about an amazingly sweet surprise!!!
Working those pad with Coach Bogs but feeling somewhat like a zombie.
I attended a gala showing tonight at The Refined but didn't stick around very long.  Today's training and the build-up of kilometers I've been piling on my runners was taking it's toll on me so I wanted to go home and crash.  On route home, I snapped this picture.  It's of one of the parks by my new condo and it was infested with so many people training.
