As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

It's a Good Morning for a Good Morning Workout

Headed out for a pre-breakfast, fasted, early morning workout.
My plan is to do this 3-4 times a week but, I must note, I'm not a morning person so the challenge is in getting up and out of bed for this.  Once I'm out, I'm good to go for training hard.
My equipment: a park bench and an agility ladder.
My agility ladder is my newest go-to piece of equipment for training.
Special shout-outs to this fabulous female right here, Security Officer Mick.
She walked by me a few times when I was training.  It basically was just her and I in this huge empty park so when she stopped by the second time and gave me a thumbs up, I finished my set and introduced myself.

Her little piece of motivation was exactly what I needed to help me get through my workout.
