As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Making a Scene in Terra 28th

Carrying my body weight in boxing gear for tonight's BoxHIIT in the Park.
See... I wasn't joking.  This is all that fit in my bag.
8 pairs of boxing gloves, 8 pairs of handwraps, 1 agility ladder, and 1 Bluetooth speaker.
Two of my eight girls were an unexpected no-show but the others came ready to train.
Of course I had to take a badass, fierce picture, right?!  Right.
...and a silly one too.
My BoxHIIT in the Park always draws attention and tonight it grabbed the attention of these
two young fighters so they sat around and watched us train.
Sorry guys, I don't train dudes but I will give you props and encouragement for your training.
I always have nothing but respect and admiration for anyone that steps into the ring, male or female.  A fighter is a fighter.  It's a tough role to have.
