As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Overdosing on Coffee and Carbs

Treated myself to a new shirt today.  A super cheap find but a much needed one and
funny enough it's super appropriate too.
At 8pm my brain felt absolutely fried.  I had been working hardcore on Empowered today and need to seriously refuel and refresh myself.  Was treated to dinner out and that definitely helped.
An overdose of carbs always helps too.  My cheat meal for this week.  No guilt here!
Was asked to attend a Remy Martin event at Brick & Mortor so I stopped by for that.  We played trivia, lost so badly but walked away with some free gifts and lots of giggles.  I gave myself extra props for the question about the Olympics.  The answer was a city in Korea but I didn't know how to spend it in English.  Got it in Korean, I joked that I should have got mad bonus points for that.
