As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Night Off and Out

Was treated to dinner out tonight, a nice little surprise, so we leisurely walked over to Forbes Town.
First time trying this place tonight.  I'm a HUGE fan of Thai food with Crying Tiger being my absolute favourite Thai restaurant in this entire country.  But tonight, we tried out Just Thai and wow, I'm not going to lie, it was so amazingly delish.
I'm big into the ambiance of a place and this place had it.  Plus, their staff were super amazing and the food, well, absolutely no complaints from me unless it were to complain that I wanted more and more.
I got complaints about my knuckles though but I'm not sweating it.
This is what hard work and crazy-a$$ intense training looks like.
I'm a boxer, not a girl who does yoga.
After dinner, we headed over to a common friend's restaurant where they were hosting a big party.
Party hat cookies for all, I love it!
And what's not to love about their badass skull shot glasses, seriously.
