Recently I submitted an entrepreneurship contest hosted by KMC here in the Philippines. It's a free 6-month integration that will providing the winning business pitch with a workspace and putting them through an incubation program that they're launching. Yesterday I received notification that I'm one of the finalist. Very cool. There's a total of 10 finalists and next week we'll each be pitching our business idea in front of panelists from KMC. I read their email today. Turns out I know one of their panelists, no pressure.
At the presentation next Thursday, I'll be given 5mins to pitch my idea and then 5 mins for questions.
I already have a business pitch made up, that's not the problem. The problem is presenting it all in only 5 minutes. The "why" to Empowered alone needs a solid few minutes and I think it's super important. It is what my entire company is founded on. It's the foundation.
I have till this Wednesday to revamp my PPT business pitch and get it to them.
Honestly, I'm not particularly interested in the free workspace, that is unless it comes with free use of a computer but I doubt that. I'm very much interested in the mentorship that they could provide. I'd love to bounce my ideas around with them and get a professional's opinion about it all. I crave that.
