As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Ending the Week On a Busy Note

I have a new personal training client so today I checked out the gym where I'll be training her.
Our training together starts next Monday.
Not too sure who this cutie is but they were all cool with me picking them up and cuddling them.
Much love to all the four-legged cuties out there, especially the one who let me take pictures of them.
I train here and I nap here, apparently.  After training I showered at the club and then
took a nap in the ring before heading out for lunch with my coach.
Taking a nap was a lot easier than trying to take a serious picture with my coach.  He's all jokes.
 Dinner for four, nice.
I pretty much spent half my day at the boxing club and/or with my coach.  And then I had to wake home.  Walking home always beats the traffic.  I may have the sun beating on me but it sure beats the extra expenses of being stuck in traffic.
