As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

On the Go, Go, Go

Raced out to Poblacion today for one-to-one boxing conditioning coaching and my boxing.
I'm always trying to find the humour in life's little challenges and I think my PT client and I nailed it right on the head today.   She doesn't like mornings and I don't like meeting new people but I train her in the morning and my job means I'm always meeting new people.
Speaking of new people, there's always some unlucky person who gets stuck in the elevator with me whenever I return from boxing and once in awhile I feel obligated to apologise.  I know I smell gym nasty.  Ohhhh... I definitely know.
It was a busy day for me, full of coaching and training, running around for Empowered and doing errands, but I'm glad Balboa got to relax.  At least one of us enjoyed some down time.
