As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Jumping Two Feet into the New Week

What a way to start the new week -- Monday morning Lil' Pow (boxing) Class with the Lil' Sistas.
I love this shot.  They're all eagerly moving and I'm the only one still in the shot.
It's exactly how it is there.  They're so full of energy and participate with such eagerness.
One of the boxing exercises I had them do was to play the Sock Game.  If you don't know what that is, Google it.  It's wicked for working on your defence and movement.
These little girls are so precious, seriously.  Coolest kids in the city, hands down.
So this happened today.  I may have fallen in love with a beautiful Belgian Malinois.
Took a trip out to Cartimare and ended up falling for pretty much every second dog I saw but if I had to pick just one, one of the many babies I fell in love with, I'd definitely pick her.

Cartimare doesn't just have dogs, they also have an abundance of shoe stores and this happened while I was there... a certain someone bought me a certain pair of shoes.  I can't believe I'm even saying this, saying the "N" word, but I now sport Nikes.
