It was anticipated by many that I'd take the day off but I thought that was silly. I don't do what I do because I have to. I do it because I like it. I love what I do -- the business, the boxing.
Nothing like giving it your all on your birthday. I gave out the beats but I also took many too.
What did you get for your birthday, you ask. Bloody knuckles and a bruised nose, thanks Coach.
Handed out some donated clothing to some of the less-fortunate locals we all see on a daily bases.
Then I ran into another less fortunate, a little lost kitten crying in the middle of the road.
I ended up scooping it up and taking it the side of the street where I sat and contemplated what to do with it next. I honestly just couldn't leave it there. Thankfully, about 7mins later, the mother cat showed up.
Arrived at home, finally. I had been out since a little after 7am and now it was after 5pm. I was hungry and, for tonight's special dinner, a certain someone was cooking it up for me. Holy delish!!
Birthdays call for cake, you have to have cake, so late in the evening I went for exactly that.
I ordered a piece of chocolate cake and hot chocolate, he ordered carrot cake and a latte.
We ended up totally switching and then totally trying to eat them both up.
Epic fail. There was just way too much cake on those plates for us to take all in.
Holy diabetic shock!!!
