As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Awesomeness for Today

I love these two little boys so very much but so very differently.
Together they're such an overdose of awesomeness.
Stepped away from the awesomeness of my boys to meet with the awesomeness of this fab female.
Slay design team meeting at The Refined.

Just recently we switched up the look of our Empowered Cap from the "dad's hat" to the "trucker's cap" and the feedback we've been getting has be awesome.  The trucker cap is a much more flattering hat so I'm a big fan of it.
What I'm not a big fan of though is The Refined bartender, Mark, making his version of a protein shake.  Sure, there was a lot of protein in it but there were also a lot of cookies and "dirty carbs".  Okay, so maybe I was a fan of this, it hit the spot and satisfied a sweet tooth craving, but trying to only sip on it and share it with someone else, ya, that was rough.
