As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

In Love with My Job Today, 110%

Doing what I love with a whole new batch of Lil' Sistas that I already love.
Coaching the Lil' Pow Boxing Class and teaching them the good old 1-2.
The Empowered Creed, something I wrote up as a promise I have all the Lil' Sistas listen
and repeat after me, both before and after every Lil' Pow Boxing Class.

Before I get into the actual physical training, I sit them down in a circle and do some self love talk.
Today's activity including finishing the following sentences, "I am.." and "She [my friend] is..."
Today I had an amazing assistant help me out in Antipolo.  She's actually the daughter of one of my personal training clients and, despite being as tall as me, she's only 14.  It was so great to have some extra help; I really appreciated it.
