As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Busy, Busy, Sweaty Me

Spent my morning getting all my medicals done for my upcoming fight and my boxing license.
Finally arrived at boxing and what should I hear but one of my fellow fighters asking to buy a pair of my Slay handwraps off me.  Thanks bud.  I tell you, the handwraps may be originally for the women but the men are absolutely loving them.
Next plan of attack, a new design just for the guys,... maybe.
When Coach Marcelo smiles at me like that, I know he's up to trouble
and I'm about to experience pain.
Yup... I'm convinced that my pain is his pleasure.
Core training, or should I say, core punching.
Why do I even shower?!  I ask myself that all the time.
Let boxing only to then meet up with a fabulous gal pal and get her awesome donation for the BIG Lil' Sista Christmas event I'm throwing.  Honestly, I am so very touched by all the awesome women who have really jumped in on this.  Without them, I wouldn't be able to make this happen!!!
