As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Beautifully Packed Day

Thursdays are meant for a feast-of-a-breakfast at my favourite little diner.
By 12 noon, I was already on my 2nd cup of coffee.
Built tough, that's me.  Built smart, yup, that's me too.  My mama didn't raise no fool.  Bought an motorcycle helmet because some of those Angkas helmets are getting ghetto and I can't risk damaging my melon.  It gets knocked around enough at rugby and at boxing.
Took my good news to the gym and got gym nasty happy on leg day.
Leg day on days I do rugby?!  Not the best idea.
Lead the post training stretch for the Lady Mavericks... and then pretty much went home and crashed for the night.  Well, not exactly.  I did go out for a special treat, to celebrate the approval of my Snail Mail Program for the Lil' Sistas Project.
