As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Quieter Weekend than Last, Kind of.

This time last weekend I was busy coaching my Lil' Sistas, both my BGC crew and in Antipolo, so to wake up today and not have them... honestly... it felt a bit sad.  I love coaching them.
I did however have a client to teach so that lifted my spirits.
She's a new client and though she never complains about just how hard I push her,
she's always sure to tell me the next day that she felt this or that.
Upon finishing coaching for the day, I stopped by McDonalds for a coffee and ran into a massive bike group.  They reminded me of my best friend in Canada, Captain Bowtie.  And, I'm not going to lie, I looked at them all as if to expect to see him amongst them.
The gym today, P-A-C-K-E-D!!! Sure from this bird's eye view it doesn't appear so but look at the top right corner.  See any machines? Exactly.  No, you can't, because it's infested with gym-goers.
Resorted to occupying a small space on the second floor of the gym and hoarding one kettlebell and a tire.  Every where else and every thing else, practically, was occupied.
