As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Still Building

Continuation of my mission to put together that white metal shelf unit.
Mission finally accomplished, mind you it was because someone else did it.
No desk just yet so I resorted to sitting on the floor with the boys.  Action shot here of Cassius reaching for my hand.  He wanted me to pet him more... sure, baby.  I'll pet you all day.
Had a moment today where I stepped back and looked at what I'm creating.  This is a first and only in the Philippines and I'm making it.  I don't care if it goes big or stays this size, it's awesome.
No excuses now that I have my own private boxing studio being created in my house.  Today there was a big thunderstorm so instead of heading out into the rain, I trained at home.  Of course, as you can see, the equipment isn't up yet and the gym isn't ready, but... no excuses, right?! Right.
